Why is it that when you come back from a trip, no matter how large or small is it always a let down? Now, I don't mean to imply that the second I walk in my door, I am not overcome with a huge sense of relief that I am home where all things are familiar and I feel safe... I am. I just wonder how it is that I can be gone for hardly four days and feel like it has been a lifetime. And that things have changed... including myself. Maybe it was because I was in Hawaii... with my sister... in January. The BEST.However, and much to my dismay this feeling of change does not extend to my desire for all things sweet, most blaringly so, store-bought cupcakes.
